Short for Internet etiquette, netiquette is a set of unwritten rules or guidelines that Internet users follow when posting to a newsgroup or using a chat room. For example, it is considered bad netiquette to type in all capital letters when posting to a newsgroup. This is equivalent to SHOUTING!
